Abilene Vibes mainly collects information when someone chooses to submit content, publish a listing, contact us, interact with content, or purchase a Featured or Premium placement.
Depending on the feature used, submitted information may include:
- Business name, category, description, address, phone number, email, website, social link, contact name, photos, logos, and plan selection.
- Marketplace item title, price, category, location, contact information, description, and photos.
- Job listing title, company, category, job type, pay information, location, contact person, phone, email, application method, description, requirements, images, and logos.
- Rental listing title, property type, address, price, deposit, availability, bedrooms, bathrooms, description, contact information, external links, and photos.
- Gallery photos, photo titles, contributor names, and related submitted details.
- Reviews, ratings, likes, saved/favorite items, and basic interaction activity when those features are used.
- Payment-related identifiers from Stripe, such as customer IDs, subscription IDs, checkout session IDs, payment status, plan type, and billing status.
Abilene Vibes does not store full credit card numbers in the app database.
How We Use Information
We use submitted information to:
- Display approved businesses, marketplace listings, jobs, rentals, gallery photos, reviews, and local content.
- Review, moderate, approve, reject, edit, hide, or remove submitted content.
- Contact submitters about their listings, updates, corrections, payments, or removal requests.
- Manage Free, Featured, and Premium placements.
- Process and track paid promotions.
- Improve the app, prevent abuse, and understand how people interact with local content.
- Provide business activity information, such as calls, directions, visits, likes, reviews, or other engagement, when available.
Public Information
Some information submitted to Abilene Vibes may become public after approval.
Public information may include:
- Business names, categories, descriptions, addresses, phone numbers, websites, social links, photos, and logos.
- Marketplace listing details, photos, prices, and contact information.
- Job listing details, company names, pay information, locations, contact details, and application information.
- Rental listing details, prices, addresses or areas, photos, contact details, and external links.
- Gallery photos, titles, and contributor names.
- Reviews, ratings, and other public interaction content.
Please do not submit private or sensitive information that you do not want shown publicly.
Photos, Logos, and Images
When you submit photos, logos, images, or other media, you confirm that you have the rights and permission needed to share them.
Submitted media may be displayed inside Abilene Vibes and may also be used in related Abilene Vibes websites, social media, promotional material, or local advertising connected to the app.
Payments and Stripe
Featured and Premium placements are processed through Stripe.
Stripe may collect and process payment information according to its own privacy policy and terms. Abilene Vibes may store payment status, plan type, Stripe customer identifiers, subscription identifiers, checkout session identifiers, and related billing status needed to manage paid placements and cancellations.
Abilene Vibes does not store full card numbers.
Supabase
Abilene Vibes uses Supabase for app data, database features, storage, authentication where needed, and related backend services.
Information submitted through the app may be stored in Supabase, including listings, photos, reviews, likes, saved items, payment status, and other app content.
Maps, Directions, and External Links
Some parts of Abilene Vibes may open Google Maps, map search, directions, business websites, social media pages, job application links, rental links, ticket links, and other external services.
External services are not controlled by Abilene Vibes. Their own privacy policies and terms may apply.
Events
Events shown in Abilene Vibes may be selected, entered, or published by Admin. Event details may change. Users should verify times, locations, ticket information, age restrictions, and other details with the event organizer or official source.
Likes, Favorites, Reviews, and Interactions
Abilene Vibes may save likes, favorites, saved items, reviews, ratings, calls, direction clicks, website visits, and other basic interaction activity when those features are used.
This information may be used to improve the app, show engagement, support moderation, or provide activity reports to listing owners or Admin.
No Sale of Personal Information
Abilene Vibes does not sell personal information.
We may use trusted service providers, such as Stripe and Supabase, to operate the app, process payments, store content, and provide app functionality.
Corrections, Updates, and Removal Requests
You may request correction, update, or removal of content you submitted by contacting:

Please include enough detail for us to identify the listing, photo, review, job, rental, marketplace item, or other content.
We may need to verify that the request comes from the submitter, owner, authorized representative, or another person with a valid reason to request the change.
Children and Sensitive Information
Abilene Vibes is intended as a local information and discovery app. Users should not submit sensitive personal information, private documents, financial details, medical information, government IDs, or information about children unless they have the legal right and clear reason to do so.
Content Moderation
Abilene Vibes may review, approve, edit, reject, hide, or remove submitted content to keep the app useful, accurate, lawful, and appropriate for the community.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Abilene Vibes may update this Privacy Policy as the app grows, features change, service providers change, or legal requirements change.
When a material change is made, the Effective Date will be updated to reflect the new version. Continued use of Abilene Vibes after an updated Privacy Policy is posted means the updated policy applies to your use of the app.
